Investing in Home Solar Power: How to Profit from Ontario's Green Energy Act

As you may have heard, Ontario recently passed a Green Energy Act which, among other measures, offers homeowners the strongest incentives in North America to install low-impact renewable energy systems on their properties. Any property owner who invests in a solar electric system can sell the power generated to the province's electrical grid at a price that is guaranteed for at least 20 years. This payment is known as a "feed-in tariff" and can provide a return better than a GIC. If you've
ever thought of going solar, now is the time!

That’s why Sustainable Ottawa has partnered with Tucker House and Ecology Ottawa to help you seize this opportunity. If you own a home or small business and are considering installing solar panels, we urge you to attend our free seminar on February 24. This session will explain how to start generating solar electricity at home and tap into the province’s feed-in tariff. Stop investing in an unpredictable stock market and start investing in a clean, green future!
